Welcome to the Presbyterian Federal Chaplaincy
We provide Presbyterian and reformed ministry to federal personnel – whether it be the members and families of our Armed Forces, our Veterans and their families receiving care from the Department of Veterans Affairs, inmates confined in Bureau of Prison facilities and their families, members and cadets of the Civil Air Patrol, or perhaps women and men serving in other departments and agencies of the Federal Government.
Our primary means to provide this ministry is through ministers of Word and Sacrament called to serve as chaplains. All our chaplains provide ministry in a pluralistic environment and seek to perform or provide ministry for all regardless of their faith or un-faith. Our chaplains also understand their role in the institutions in which they serve and provide a prophetic voice regarding organizational policies and practices.
